Nasal Obstruction
Nasal obstruction is the experience or sensation of not being able to breathe out of one or both sides of the nose. It can cause a significant reduction in quality of life and even life threatening medical problems (i.e., sleep apnea). The cause of your nasal obstruction can be complicated to ascertain. It may be a combination of anatomic blockage (like a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, or collapsed nasal valve), or an underlying medical problem (like allergies or sinusitis). Dr. Sharma has a very high success rate in determining the biggest causes of nasal obstruction. At times, medications may be helpful for these issues. Other times, Dr. Sharma can perform a variety of office based procedures or surgeries to improve your nasal obstruction, your health, and your quality of life.
